Welcome
We invite you to worship with us on Sundays at 10:30 am. If you have questions or needs during your visit, just stop by the Connection Center. We’d love to meet you.
Visiting a new church isn’t easy. We get it. That’s why we’ve put together a FAQ to help make your first visit to GBC as enjoyable as possible.
What Happens on Sundays?
Each Sunday about 150 people of all ages and backgrounds gather for worship.
Our worship service lasts about 80 minutes. It begins with a call to worship and includes singing, reading of Scripture, prayer, teaching from the Bible, the Lord’s Supper, and a benediction.

What Kind of Songs Do You Sing?
We sing a blend of classic hymns and modern worship songs. Some are upbeat and joyful. Others are more reflective and sorrowful. We use a diversity of music that glorifies God and edifies his people.
We emphasize congregational singing, lifting our voices to God and one another as his Word richly dwells in us (Col 3:16).
What Should I Wear?
We don’t have a dress code. Most people at GBC dress casually. But you’ll see a variety of styles, ranging from jeans to business casual. You might even spot a suit.
Where Should I Sit?
Seating is available in the Chapel on the main level and in the balcony. We also have an overflow room on the second floor with a live video feed of the service.
Where Do I Pick Up the Elements for the Lord’s Supper?
We celebrate the Lord’s Supper every Sunday. We welcome all baptized Christians to celebrate with us. If you’re not yet a follower of Jesus and wonder why only baptized Christians can participate, we’d love to talk with you about it anytime.
Individual packages of bread and wine (or grape juice) are available outside the Chapel or in the Fellowship Hall. Make sure to pick one up on your way into the service.
Are Kids Welcome at the Worship Service?
Yes, definitely. We love kids! We’re thrilled when families can worship together. But we know it can be challenging.
If your child isn’t quite ready to sit through an entire service, you might want to check out the Fellowship Hall on the second floor. You can watch a live video feed of the service in a more relaxed environment where a bit of wiggling or noise isn’t a problem.
Do You Have a Nursery?
Yes, our nursery welcomes children under three years old. It’s staffed by friendly church members who’ve been background checked and trained to provide quality care to your child.
Where Can I Park?
Grab any available spot in our parking lot. Street parking is available on both Redwood and 11th Avenues if the parking lot is full.
