Biography:
Rudy came to Manila from his home island of Catanduanes when he was around 16 to go to high school. Later he worked for the Philippine Constabulary, a state police agency, and was assigned to Baguio where he met his wife Estela. They were visited by a missionary and Estela and their two oldest daughters eagerly attended church. The girls came home singing songs they learned in Sunday school. God used many things, including the words of the songs, words of the missionary, and a loving wife, along with dangerous police work to draw Rudy to salvation. He has grown into a faithful soul winner and teacher of the Word.
The Perdigons moved to the U.S. and eventually Rudy became an elder at GBC. They were sent back to the Philippines in October of 1999 as missionaries. Rudy preaches in many churches, even hours from his home, and works to train young pastors. In their retirement years, Rudy and Estela are faithfully serving God through evangelism, church planting, biblical teaching, preaching, pastoral training, hospitality, and generosity.
