This Lord’s Day Jim and I am swapping pulpits. I plan to speak from Ephesians 1:7-8 on the theme of Redemption Accomplished and Applied.
We often become so distracted by the world and its cares that we can forget our abundant riches in Christ as we live our lives. We need to keep the truth of who Jesus is and what He has done in making us the very children of God on the forefronts of our minds. This will effect not only our joy, but enable us to glorify Him more effectively.

These two verses are packed full with theological truths that we will unpack slowly in our worship services this Sunday. We will consider what Redemption is, what was the method of payment securing our redemption, and finally the results and riches of Redemption.
